Academia
After originally obtainng a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, Pavlos embarked on a journey to a diverse postgraduate study in Clinical Neuropsychiatry and Counselling Psychology alongside working as a Psychology clinician and researcher in various roles and settings (young people and adolescence, neurodiversity, mental health, neurodegenerative disorders, complex diagnoses, existential, emotional and behavioural difficulties and the elderly). Pavlos then completed his Ph.D. in Psychology by experimental research in Computational Modelling of Human Behaviour in coding Time.

Combining expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodology and a blend of research and practice experience both in the experimental and the clinical world Pavlos has been offering his service to academia for more than 20 years in various roles to the day. He has been teaching nationally and internationally as well as heading leading University Programs (Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Neuroscience, Psychotherapy) and Schools/Departments in Psychology.

In his academic roles Pavlos has served University senates, led a variety of executive commitees (research, ethics, teaching), directed and headed leading research groups, designed and led accredited graduate and postgraduate courses and professional doctorates, chaired professional societies and worked closely with specialised divisions in practiting psychology and professional regulating bodies as well as heading internally and externally boards of studies for Doctorate level clinical studies.

Curently Pavlos is teaching Reseacrh Methodology, Neurocognitive Psychology, Clinical applications of Psychology, Counselling Psychology and Philosophy and Existential Therapy.
​
His research interests include Psychology and Psychotherapy practice, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, Computational Modeling of Human Behaviour, Scalar Timing Theory, Memory, Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality.
